Remember, you have the flexibility to cancel your account at any time through our app. Here's a simple guide:

  1. Navigate to the Billing section in your settings.
  2. You'll find a card displaying your active plan and a 'cancel' button.
  3. Click on 'cancel' and follow the steps presented in-app. Make sure to complete all steps to finalize your cancellation.

Please note that cancellations are set to take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. This ensures you're able to use our app for the duration you've already paid for.


Requesting a Refund

Refunds are not processed automatically as accounts are set to cancel at the end of your billing cycle. So if you need a refund, here's what you should do:

  1. Make sure your account is set to cancel.
  2. Send us an email or chat request for a refund.

We respect the 7-day money-back guarantee for users who haven't completed a trial. If you're eligible and would like a refund, simply email us at support@writesonic.com. For more details, refer to our refund policy.


Changed Your Mind?

If you've had a change of heart and want to continue using Writesonic, we're here to help! Just email us at support@writesonic.com and we'll manually remove your pending cancellation.


Pausing Your Plan

Remember, cancellation isn't your only option. You can choose to pause your plan for up to 3 months instead. Your billing cycle will simply resume after the pause period. To do this:

  1. Navigate to the Billing page.
  2. Click on 'Pause' button to pause your plan.
  3. If you wish to resume your paused plan, just click 'Resume Plan' on the same page.
